Weight Loss Yoga For Beginners Dvd
Anyone do yoga at home using a DVD and notice results/benefits?
I’d like to begin doing Yoga. I hear it’s relaxing and a great way to get toned as well. I’m very busy. I’m a single mom, in RN school full-time (start back up later this month) and I work part-time as a secretary. I’d like to take a yoga class but the hours the classes are offered are not consistent and I would have to find child care for my son, so it just wouldn’t work for me.
I saw a DVD online for beginners. “Yoga for weight-loss” and am thinking about purchasing it. I wonder though whether or not people actually end up getting results or benefits from at home DVDs and without the extra help of an instructor?
Can anyone give me some honest thoughts/opinions on Yoga at home for beginners? I have the Pilates DVDs but wasn’t that crazy about Pilates. I’m hoping Yoga might be a better fit?
My wife has had good results with the combination of classes and the DVDs DVDs help her keep doing it when she can’t get to class and the class helps her do the exercises right.
The DVD can’t correct you. We believe it is best to have a professional class a couple of times at least to get you started off right.
