Weight Loss With Yoga And Diet

does yoga/pilates work for weight loss??

I know yoga and pilates are good for improving overall health, balance, and heart rate, but do either one or both of them actually cause weight loss?? i enjoy doing them but need to lose weight and want to lose some by the end of summer. i know running is good, its just not something i enjoy and i’d rather do something i enjoy or else i don’t think i will do it after a while. and also if they dont really help with weight loss do you have any other ideas to help along with a healthy diet?
