What is a realist weight loss goal for a 12 week fitness challenge? My friends and I have formed a team and we need to set a team goal, we all want weight loss but the number that we set has to be realistic for a team of different fitness levels, ages, and motivation.
Any suggestions.
In addition it is a team of three women. One in each age range 20,30 and 40′s.

It is healthy for you to lose 1.5lbs every week, at the same time you still have to acknowledge that folks will hit a plateau at different times.With all the debate on what should really happen.I personally think that shooting for 3 lbs every 2 weeks is a realistic goal.
Are all of you training together? if you are, you could also perform a test every month i.e perform 10 crunches, 10 situps, and 10 squats continously for 5 minutes. The goal is to record how many times the above circuit was performed. You see this is also an excellent measure of how your whole body has improved.I prefer doing this along with measuring the body weight on a fortnight basis. stay focused!
