Help me on my weight loss?
This is like my 3rd time attempting to lose weight.Im 17yo turning 18 on march i am 5″4′ and weigh 160lbs, i want to lose 40 lbs of fat n gain muscle. My first 2 tries only lasted for about a couple of days or more. Here are my ideas to why taht happened
One thing that i find a factor of my failure is that my mom cooks pork and meat and i cant seem to eat anything else rather than that. The way she cooks vegetables.. however .would make me want to puke cuz its always soggy and soupy! Help me on how to ask my mom to cook vegetables in a nicer tasting way or suggest me any kind of cooking?
2ndly I lose focus! I need something to focus on my weight loss! Is there any forums that can help teen lose weight so i can keep a track on how im doing and gain support? What ways can i remain focus? I think that this is the most important factor i’ve got! After a few day on my 2nd try i was losing more and more focus on what i should do partly cuz i dont havea schedule/plan…

watch the new coheed and cambria video. it was playing on mtvu while i was in the gym about a week ago; and i have since become a vegetarian. trust me, you’ll never want to eat meat again after that.
and why don’t you try cooking for yourself? a good way to cook vegetables if you don’t like them soggy is to lay them out on a pan, drizzle them with olive oil, and roast them until they’re crispy. broccoli is really good like that (as well as squash, bell peppers, and just about any other kind of vegetable)
just eat less calories than you normally do, which i now is hard, i’ve been trying to lost weight forever.
you could also keep a diary of what you eat to stay on track. (add up your calories.) and when you go out to eat, don’t order stuff if you don’t know the nutritional value. i find many dishes which seem very healthy, but then when i check the nutrition facts, it is LOADED with calories and fat. try to check websites before you go. hope that helps
