Does acai berry and blueberry tea have the same benefits as fresh?

I love hot fruit teas, so when i saw new Acai blackberry and blueberry teabags i jumped at them! I know acai and blueberries are ‘superfoods’ and have loads of antioxidants etc. I know fresh fruit ultimately contains the most nutrients of any way of eating fruit (compared to dried, frozen etc) and fruit tea isnt one of your 5-a-day. But my question is… do teabags still give ANY of the same benefits of the fresh berries?
Have you ever tried Acai and had any benefits? Lost weight with it?
What other types of teas have great benefits for weight loss? But none that are too expensive

Don’t bother me with acai diet links and ‘free’ acai juice links because they ALWAYS have a catch.

Keep in mind that many flavored teas like this don’t actually have the fruits in them. Most of the time it’s just natural flavoring that gives you the acai, blackberry and blueberry taste. It wouldn’t offer any value. It’s always best to eat the whole fruit. The fiber will help keep you full and help you lose weight, not to mention all the antioxidants you get from eating real fruit.

But keep drinking tea. The black, green, white, and oolong varieties are awesome for your health, and they’ve been shown to help with weight loss. However, just be sure to not put any sweeteners, of any type, in your tea. It’ll fight all the good that the tea has to offer.
