Question about Diabetes, please help me!?
I had a blood test the other day to check my thyroid and a few other things. I talked to my doctor about weight and next week I am starting the HCG diet, the shots. I ordered it online yesterday. I got my blood test results today and they said my thyroid is normal but I am close to diabetes and my cholesterol is bad. I broke down crying when I hung up the phone. Hearing I was close to diabetes…and knowing it’s all my fault because I haven’t been taking care of my body. But they also told me all of this is reversible with weight loss. I know I am starting the diet soon but I don’t want to continue eating bad like you know how some people get in all their favorite fatty foods before a diet…I am scared to even eat anything now!!! From now until I start the diet what should I do? Just eat normal and do some exercise? I am really scared and paranoid now….please any suggestions?? 20/female 245 lbs 5’5
lose the sugar especially soda, cake and candy.. diet soda is ok.
losing weight helps control diabetes a lot. eat small meals at regular times.
