Weight loss muscle lost?

I am about to embark on a weight loss adventure. I will be doing one hour of elliptical everyday and eating healthy and taking protein powder shakes. I just wanted to know if i will lose muscle if i do 1hour of elliptical everyday for 2-3 months. If i will what should i add into my routine inorder not to lose weight loss? Thanks
diet would consist of lean meats chicken brown rice veges fruits, i know what a good diet is i have done it before and lost decent amount of weight but i just stopped because it seemed like ive been losing muscle because somedays i would feel weak others fantastic

why would you lose muscle..? especially since you are eating healthy and taking protein shakes. you will burn calories>fat> and lose weight, but not muscle. if you wanna go down that road try the twinkie diet. not a good idea but its you
