Weight Loss Powder Shake
Should you eat/drink more protein when losing weight?
If the goal is weight loss and losing inches, should you eat protein bars and use whey protein powder in shakes?
One personal trainer at my gym said yes, to use them as meal replacements. Since I try to eat 5 times a day, these easily make a great substitute until my next meal.
Another trainer said this should only be used when trying to gain weight or muscle, as extra protein will only increase your weight.
Any advice on this?
Hey Lula! I’ve been drinking whey powder along with my workouts and i find that although my weight doesnt necessarily go down, i have become incredible skinnier and i now have a much more toned body! i’d give it a shot! maybe try putting it in a berry smoothie? berries help with fat loss
