Weight Loss Powder Mix

Will protein powder help with my weight loss?

I am currently trying to lose weight, about 10-15lbs. i try to jog everyday and eat healthy. Lately i have been eating eggs and rice. (only water)
So far eggs are my only source of protein and i wonder if i am getting enough, especially since i am cutting back on other foods. (because of the diet and being a vegetarian)
My questions is, do you think i should purchase protein powder and mix it into a shake? Will that help with my weight loss or only bulk me up?

you don’t need THAT much protein in your diet. just eat nuts and drink soymilk everyday an that should be enough

protein that isn’t consumed turns into fat just like everything else.
