How many pounds to lose until i FEEL better? (personal stories are LOVED!)?

Hi!
I have been taking Phentermine for one week today, I went and weighed and I have lost 9 whole pounds! (yay! go me!) I started at 281 pounds and right now I am down to 272 pounds.. I know the Phentermine gives me the energy to do the excercise.. but obviously I still feel the lag because I am so over-weight.. I was just wondering if anyone has any stories they would like to share about losing weight and when they began to feel better?? ALSO.. when did YOU start to notice the weight loss? obviously other people can sort of see it.. but it is hard for you yourself to see it.. when did you see it? how much better do you feel about yourself after losing weight?? I used to hate going to the gym it made me bummed just thinking about going. I was always skinny as a child but as I hit puberty I just started gaining weight and I didnt care really. But in my junior year of highschool I was shock when we went to go get our prom dresses. I looked dreadful. At that point I thought to myself I had to lose weight. So I started going to the gym everyday. I cut out sugars and just drank water and I just started losing weight. I noticed it at my cousins wedding when everyone began to point out how great I looked. And that was about a month or so. That gave be a boost to continue. I wanted to feel amazing and look amazing. I lost a total of 68 pounds and I felt great. I felt amazing at senior prom I felt great entering my freshman year of college. Knowing that I didn;t have to enter with all that excess fat. I got to wear my first bikini too last summer.
