Weight Loss Over 40 Exercise

When will I see weight loss by doing this?
I’m 24 and hoping to lose at least 25kg over the next 3 months. So for the last 3 days I’ve put myself on a strict 900-1000 calorie diet and I’m doing 30-40 minutes cardio followed by muscle toning exercises such as press ups, squats and stomach crunches. I’m also lifting 2kg weights for arm and shoulder exercises. For cardio I’m running on the treadmill for about 20 minutes and 20 minutes on the exercise bike. With that I’m burning around 150 calories or more per day.
I’m eating protein, fibre, vegetables, and no white flour, sugar (except for 1 spoon honey), no pasta, rice, potatoes or basically any junk food. All grilled/steamed no oil etc.. I only drink loads of water and green tea.
Anyways I haven’t lose any weight yet and I know it’s probably too soon. Can anyone let me know how soon I should expect to see some loss and how much I can expect to lose? Just wondering so I can know what to expect. Thanks alot.
It takes your body about 2 weeks to get used to diet and exercise. A good rule of thumb is to not even get on a weight scale no more than ounce per week. Focus more on your workouts and you will lose weight.
You should notice a difference in your weight the first week. Make sure that you change the intensity levels of your exercises. When you do this…it will even help you lose more fat. Plus it will add a little spice to your workouts.
Don’t get frustrated with your weight from week to week…just make the necessary changes so you can get back on track. (diet and exercise)
