Hi im from the uk im 17 i am a big girl and im fed up with it i suffer from depression and hate myself , doctors have sent me to different weight loss programs and stuff but never worked they say that if i try everything then they would start to think about surgery but i doubt they will, ive tryed asking parents and family if they could take out a loan so i could have the gastric band operation and pay them back as i work 2 jobs but they cant because of bad credit so i was wondering is there anywhere in the uk where u can pay for the surgery like monthly payments as this would be my only option i would have left to get the surgery please help and any other information you can give me would be great and please no hatefull comments as ive had enough of them in my life already thanks

Honey, you are awfully young to be considering this procedure. There are serious health ramifications that can come from having it done. You don’t say HOW big you are. Gastric band procedures are only considered if the person is at LEAST 100 pounds above their ideal. Also an ethical physician won’t consider operating on you until you have your mental health in order. They don’t want you making such a life-changing decision unless you are doing it from a logical thought process.

I beg you to get emotional help first. If you start feeling better about yourself, you could very well start seeing the weight come off in a healthy way.
