Will i have permanent scars if i get a tummy tuck and a couple others surgeries?
i”m a 17 yr. old male and i am undergoing weight loss(i’m around 70 lbs overweight) and i’ve heard from some of my friends that lost weight that you get stretch marks. Well, guess what i just got on my stomach-stretch marks. so i know i’ll get more, and i’ve decided that i’m going to have a tummy tuck, along with others-such as an arm lift, laser scar removal for a scar on my head. but my main concern is if i will get scars from those and if i do, can i remove them to such an extent that they are barely noticeable?
Okay, your 17 you will get stretch marks but they will fade.
Although you are 17 though you would hae thought the skin would bounce back. Lose your weight first before considering a tummy tuck.
The arm lift will scar you for life. And it will be very noticable, so its up to you to way up if it is worth it. As for the tummy tuck depending on how they do it, you can get permanent for life results form that, great ones infact especially if you keep the weight off. But tummy tucks are usually reccomended to older people who’s skin won’t bounce bacl from liposuction. A tummy tuck will leave scars, don’t know how visable for life but they should do it very low so that its below your pants so nobody will see unless you naked.
70lbs can be alot on some people and no so much on some people, I hope your parents are okay with this and its a serious issue not just a little bit of low self esteem.
