Does anyone know if “cold” laser therapy works for weight loss?

I have a friend who quit smoking after the therapy and I’ve heard you can do it for weight loss too. I’m obviously very skeptical. Has anyone had the low level laser therapy for anything? Did it work?

They featured it on the “The Drs”(you know, that show thats popular now where 4 doctors sit and dicuss the latest issue) and they said it works quite well because it freezes the fat cells in place. try it! or do some research about it first, especially from the The Drs website.
