Why is he trying to sabatoge my weight loss?

I went on weight watchers 2 weeks ago with a plan to lose about 60 lbs. I do pretty good unless my boyfriend is home and awake. I feel like rather than being supportive of my goal, he is deliberately trying to sabatoge my attempt to lose some weight.
For example. Tonite, we went out for pizza and instead of ordering a medium or small pizza, he ordered 2 large supremes and then kept trying to get me to have another piece. I asked for a water and he told me “you can drink pop if you want”, like I am a 5 yr old.
On Thursday he delivered chili to my job with a giagantic bowl of Steak and Shake ice cream. Feeling like he went way out of his way to cook for me and bring it 25 mi into town, I ate a small amount of it. He went into detail how he managed to keep the ice cream cold and how much he knew I would like to have some.
He asks me out to eat every day. He has only become interested since I lost 10 lbs of my 60 lb goal. Whats he doing?

He may be afraid of losing you if you lose weight. If he is insecure, he may be subconsciously trying to keep you overweight so other men will not find you attractive or so you will not think that you can find someone who is better than him.

In any case, sabotage = bad and you need to address it with him. Well, you don’t need to, but it would prbably help address the situation.
