Weight Loss In Cats Worms

What would cause a cat to lose weight, have lackluster coat and be tired?

I have an almost 2 year old male cat *not neutered yet* who has all the sudden begun to lose weight. I live out in the country so there’s no other people he bothers, and no road near by- he gets to go outside in the day time. When I first noticed the weight loss, I attributed it to him running around outside (he was previously inside only cat). Now he’s just too skinny, and he sleeps quite a bit more. He seems unusually tired, and cranky, and his coat looks terrible. I am taking him to the vet on pay day, but I wondered what the possibilities were…worms, perhaps?

It could quite possibly be worms. Those are the signs of having worms. Hurry and take him to the vet.
