Why are so many ads geared toward losing weight?
I’ve refreshed my email page 8 times (8 times!!) to get ads that weren’t weight loss ads. I understand there are some people who are overweight but why do you need so many ads on the same site? Why aren’t there more ads for other things: Shoes, Hair Supplies, Auto Supplies, Dating Sites, Credit cards, movies, etc. Why so many weight loss ads?
because they work that’s why.
That and if your email (by some provider you did not specify) uses your age/gender to determine what types of ads to send you, you might be right in the target demographic for “weight loss pills”
Ignore them, or install firefox and get the “adblock” extension to banish them.
