Should I Start A Blog- Please read description?
I was thinking about doing a blog on my weight loss. At the moment the main purpose is not to inform others but to help me keep on track myself by getting feedback from others and maybe inspire others. Sort of like making it a diary for the web. But I don’t want my blog to be solely my weight loss and nutrition and fitness. I have never really read other peoples blogs so, I am not sure if I should have a main subject with related sub-categories or if I can jump all over the place with many different topics. Like I said before I am thinking in terms of making it a public diary because I am not too knowledgeable about many things to post my opinion on.
Many popular bloggers got started this way. Some of them used blogs to keep notes on a test they were taking, they eventually found that people had been following their posts and they realized they could make a lot of money by putting ads on their site.
It is free to start on a lot of blog sites like wordpress, blogger and even squidoo and there is no punishment for not getting any viewers. It is also a great way to get your thoughts down in a permanent place.
I would definitely go for it. It will be great learning experience and may even be helpful to other people trying to lose weight in the future!
