WILL I CONTINUE TO LOSE WEiGHT IF I….?
Heres the deal. Coming into the summer I weighed 201lbs and im 5’8. I’m 16 by the way. I started working and my diet changed and i started to notice i was losing a lil weight. Then about three weeks ago I started running 4 times a week. I would jog mon, tuesday, thursday, Friday for 30 minutes and try to maintaine a steady diet but nothing too strict at all. Today I weigh 180.5 lb. I notice a loss of fat in my face and i even fit nicely into a medium shirt in which 2 months ago was kind of tight on me. My question is if i continue the same workout and try to eat healthier will i continue to lose weight because i kno the more weight you lose the harder it gets and im not sure if my current plan will continue to work althought the 30 minutes on the tread mill plus work (i play sports with kids all day as a counselor at camp) takes a descent toll on me.
Your best bet would be to alternate your diet and exercise routine. It will keep your metabolism working at a steady rate and make sure your body doesn’t grow accustom to your exercise routine because then you will have to work harder and harder each time you work out. You don’t necessarily need to diet to lose weight in fact a lot of the time dieting is unhealthy. What i do is focus on getting the correct serving size of each food group into my meals(three times a day) and then eat a few snacks throughout the day to keep my metabolism from slowing down, plus it keeps me from getting so hungry that i ravage the kitchen after each work out. When you exercise, alternate the from easy to more strenuous. It will help you burn more calories to do that then to just run for 30 minutes. Try warming up with a simple sprint for a short distance then do a fast walk for a few minutes, move into a jog, alternate between the two, and then cool down with another sprint. Make you sure you are stretching before and afterwards too so that you don’t hurt yourself. It’s something that is very easy to do when exercising. Your weight loss won’t be super fast or anything but you will continue to lose weight at a consistent rate until you reach your goal weight. Which should be a reasonable number or you will only disappoint yourself and never achieve weight loss satisfaction lol. Mostly, listen to your body, it sounds cheesy but you really can tell the difference between healthy and overweight. Hope this helped!
