Smoking and skin elasticity. Will quitting for good improve my appearance? Serious answers only please ?

I had quit for 9 months while I was pregnant but once my baby was born I began smoking again. I realized that my breasts wrinkled and so did my stomach. I figured it was due to my weight loss but then I read a article that said that breast feeding and having a baby doesn’t necessary cause that, that smoking does! I’m only 22 years old and have the naked body of a older woman.

Please help me, i’m in the process of quitting for good but is there hope for my body or is the damage done? Has anyone noticed that smoking reduced wrinkles for them?

Smoking does cause wrinkles. If you stop smoking now, the wrinkles won’t go away but they they won’t get any worse either.
You may help your skin by using a cream. Smoking drys out your skin. That includes second hand smoke.
My cousin & I are the same age. I have never smoked & she smoked all her life until she got cancer. She is a cancer survivor. You would be quite surprised if you seen us side by side. I feel sorry for her when she says “Why am I so wrinkled and your not ? I just shrug my shoulders. I think in her heart of hearts, she knows.
You are so young & your skin has elasticity, so there is hope for you. There is not for my cousin, as we are elderly.
Go to a good cosmetics counter in JC Penney’s or such & talk to someone about this concern of yours.
May I also add that my nephew died at the age of 32 with lung cancer. The Dr. said it was due to smoking. He left 2 small children.
Smoking is not good for your precious baby to breathe either. Please give it up sweetie and live a good smoke free life. Blessings to you.
