my bulimia is part of my ocd..few questions..anyone please give me precise answers..?

im 19 and had been diagnosed with ocd when i was 13(im a handwasher).at that age, i also had started my bulimia.but never once i told anyone even my psychiatrist about that.4 me, it is just the way i could lost weight.i never know that its a kind of disorder until i stumbled to an article about bulimia.but i jts feel embarased to voice it out.until i was 17, when i felt that ive loss control, only then i told my psychiatrist.that was very hard though.however, unlike what ive been reading in the net as well as from the magazines, my psychiatrist seems taking it for granted.he dont stress on treating my bulimia very much.he stress more on my ocd because he said, its part of it and will dissipate if the ocd is wearing off.he is the only one who knows about this.i never tell my parents and anyone else bout this because im afraid they’ll scold me.i abused on laxatives almost everyday n i also do the self induced vomitin more than once per day.do laxative really work to lose weigt

put away the laxatives and find yourself a new doctor. I had/have EDNOS which is derived from my OCD aswell. Like you I am a germ freake only I was dignosed when I was much younger than you and had excellent care and have hardly any ocd tendancies anymore because of my ongoing and top care.

ANY doctor that do not recognize how serious eating disorders are do NOT haveyour intrest at heart and are shabby doctors. I abused laxatives, diet pills, duretics and other suppliments when I was a teen and seriously you do not want to fall down that road. They create so many problems with your organs, top it off you DO NOT lose weight by abusing these things, not any significant amount anyways.

Seek a psychologist who deals with eating disorders and works closely with a nutritionist. I had therapy in many forms-group, behavioural,art, diet etc. The foods you eat can make a huge differance in how your OCD manifest and how well you can control it. Certain foods make people anxious, nervous, hyper, down etc.
