Does acupuncture for weight loss really help?
i heard of acupuncture working wonders. my mom has been smoking for over 15 years, had acupuncture done…and now never craves ciggs. so does it aid in weight loss? i eat right, and exercise and drink soooo much water, but i just want that extra “boost” lol. anyone know? im getting it done later this morning!
Does it help with weight loss? Absolutely not.
Could it help via the placebo effect? Possibly, but most unlikely.
As with all the other weight loss scams (magic pills, colon cleanse, hynotherapy etc) there is a lot of money to be made out of people desperate for an easy fix.
Want a quick boost? Skip that dessert and run an extra mile; absolutely 100% guaranteed to lose more weight than you otherwise would have.
Edit: Things like ‘balance your chemistry’ are ridiculous, invented terms that mean nothing in the real world. We know what causes excess weight and we know what to do about it. Sticking needles in yourself won’t work!
