I weighed 130 lbs before pregnancy, 155 at full term and about 151 now. My baby is 4 months old and breastfed exclusively. He weighs 19 lbs and I carry him constantly in a sling and I am very active. I don’t understand why I have not slimmed down. I eat the same as I did before I got pregnant? What has been your experience with weight loss after pregnancy? Did breastfeeding help?

Give it time. I didn’t really start losing until 5-6 months. I’m 8 months post partum now, still b/f and back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I think breastfeeding really helps because I haven’t been dieting or exercising with any regularity.
