fitness classes for beginners.?

What is the best classes to take if you just starting out on a fitness weight loss plan? I am going to the gym but would like to join a class. There are so many and I want to choose a class that I know I can handle. I can do about a mile run/walk on the tread, and about 4 miles on a bike at a time. I would like to mix up my exercise routine and join a class. Any suggestions for a beginner?
I am not interested in taking diet pills. I am losing weight the healthy and correct way..i.e. eating healthy high fiber, low fat, low calorie food and exercising. I am just looking for a fitness class. Please don’t answer if your going to tell me to take diet pills.
