Can Chantix (or another drug) help with food addiction?
I think I finally understand. My addiction to food has been defeating my weight loss effort for several years. I heard once that one or more of the drugs used to treat certain addictions (smoking, gambling) might help with food addiction as well. I don’t smoke but does anyone know if doctors have been prescribing such drugs to treat food addiction? Would it be unethical for them to? Is there another drug on the horizon? Does anyone have info on clinical trials for this specifically? Please help.
