Summer camp refund issues; do I have a case?
I attended an adult resident weight loss program last summer and they had an arrangement where if I logged everything I ate on their website for the following 6 months, I would receive a $600 refund. Well, I did what they said, I logged everything I ate for 6 months, they were aware of it, but they are withholding my refund for no reason. Do I have a case? If so, which specific type of lawyer should I speak to? (i.e. personal injury, etc.)
It would be a potential breach of contracts case.
You should not waste your time speaking to any attorney over a $600 case. (The RETAINER for a contracts attorney would be a good $2,500.)
For such a low dollar amount you should simply file an action in small claims court. No attorneys are necessary.
