Getting very discouraged about my weight loss journey..?
2 weeks ago i weighed in at 169lbs. From that day I have changed my diet completely, eating very healthy balanced meals. No soda, chips, candy or sweets. Anything like bread and pasta I switched over to all whole grains. I eat a lot of salad with oil and vinegar. I eat a lot of fruits and veggies. I drink water like it’s my job. I also eat a lot less, (eating within proportion. not starving) Combined with this diet change, i do the biggest loser cardio max dvd, and power sculpt dvd every day, at level 1. I weigh 166. I’ve only lost 3 pounds in 2 weeks, and i am getting super discouraged and i just want to give up. I know losing weight doesn’t happen over night (even though i’d like it to) So, has anyone felt this way? when will i start losing weight? any motivational words for me? I’d appreciate it. thank you xoxo
Its only been two weeks. 3 pounds in that short a time is actually pretty good. It usually takes longer than that for your metabolism to get into weight loss mode.
