Setting Weight Loss Goals
Help losing weight?
I need help setting weight loss goals and getting my weight off. I am 5′ 4″ and almost 130 pounds. I am totally out of shape. I have a medium frame and I don’t look fat- but I look a little chubby. My problem areas are my arms, stomach and thighs (pretty much everywhere) lol. I don’t carry much weight in my hips or butt. I really want to tone up and get ready for tennis in the Spring. I also want to feel better in general and about myself. I need help figuring out how many calories I should be eating a day and how much I should be exercising. It is really cold out so I can run but it is going to be unpleasant at first. (I think I can only run about a half mi staight right now w/o getting too tired because I am ridiculously out of shape), I am going to start playing tennis about an hour a day 3-4 times a week pretty soon indoors as well. Please help me set reasonable goals and help me figure out ways to reach them. My ultimate goal weight would 115-118. Thank you so much!
Go to sparkpeople.com, they will help you with everything you want to know. You have to register, but everything is totally free to use. You can keep an online food journal, and keep track of your goals. You put in your weight now, and how much you want to loose, and they will help you figure everything out. They also have recipes, exercises, and articles you can read for inspiration. It’s a really good website, it helped me. Good luck!
