Pancreatitis in dogs?

My dog has been to the vet several times and within 2 weeks her ribs are now sticking out because she looks so thin. Yesterday and the day before it seemed as if she was getting better, but today she is again laying there not wanting to move. She hasn’t wanted to eat much at all since this happened which is the reason for her weight loss. She basically lays down most of the day and it looks like she may be getting bedsores. We have her on antibiotics and have to constantly watch her blood sugar (the pancreatitis gave her diabetes) Can anyone that has had or has a dog with this problem tell me how long it took them to get better or what you had to do. The thought of putting her down hurts so much but I hate seeing her suffer like this.
We have taken her to the vet several times, and they are the ones that giving me the antibiotics, and they have given me a special food to give to her. He is talking positively about her future, but overall is not really sure.

My dog has pancreatitis, it is very painful, my dog can not eat any beef, he only eats non greasy food, very bland kibble, usually fish or chicken based,Absolutely no table scraps, i am able to give him a treat that doesn’t hurt him and that is chicken jerky strips just 1 a day, i have to watch my grand kids when they come over, because they like to give him food, if they drop or sneak him something i will be up all night with him suffering, he is 7 yrs old now, you can manage this with the right food. his breed is a min-pin.
