Reaching your weight loss goal and not getting support from your friends…?

im a 18 year old girl and have always been really chubby growing up, but this past year I set a goal to lose weight. I use to weigh like 175 pounds my freshman year and have worked hard and now weigh 127 pounds and am 5’5” my senior year. I’ve done it the right way by eating healthy(Fruits and veggies instead of a candy bar) and exercise(Running anywhere from 3 to 5 miles a day). It’s been a gradual process and haven’t done anything drastic like skipping meals and stuff. Recently my friend approached me and said some other people and her think I have a eating disorder. This really upsets me because I’ve lost weight a healthy way. I know it shouldn’t upset me because a teen girls can be a b***h, but it really made me feel bad about myself after I have worked so hard to feel better about myself. I guess what I’m getting at is has any other people had this problem and if so how do you respond to people who try to cut you down after you’ve worked so hard to achieve your goals

I have lost 70lbs….let me tell you, when I was fat, people would tell me “oh honey, you need to lose weight and get healthy” now they are telling me my cheeks and face look sucken in or that i’m doing drugs, anorexic..etc. I look healthy and nowhere near boney. Anything, and they tell me to stop.

The thing is they are jealous or you, of your success and determination. You have achieved quite an accomplishment, don’t let thier words bring you down. The envy you.
In a way, it’s kind of a compliement, hold your head up high.
