New years resolution, to lose weight. Has any women been to Curves Weightloss?

I’m 17 and I really want to lose weight this year, I couldnt be more serious about it. There is a Curves where I live which is like a YMCA but Curves is ony for women. Ithink it would be easier for me if there werent men around when I am working out. Has anyone been to Curves, is it a good place to help with weight loss?

I went to Curves and I liked it, but I just didn’t think that it was intense enough to help. I think that if your goal is to lose 10 pounds in 4 months it would be a good place but if you want to lose the 10 pounds in 1 month, not the place. It is a circuit workout-all the machines are in a great big circle and you start on one and do it for I think it was 30 seconds, maybe it was a minute, then the music “beeps” and you move to the next machine and so on and so forth-and your supposed to only have to do it for 1/2 hour, but you could do more, but it got boring. Oh and the music at ours was lame. hehe. So I guess I liked it, but didn’t like it. I think the gym is better and less boring. Try going to a 24 hour fitness gym, then you could go at a time that wasn’t so crowded (or not as many boys there. ) Well-hope this helps.
