La Weight Loss Take Off Diet
Meds made me gain 10 lbs. I want to lose it, but just fat not muscle. Weight Watchers or LA Weight Loss?
I’m a healthy person. I have an active lifestyle and eat lots of fruits and veggies. I’ve never had to pay a lot of extra attention to my weight or diet, besides taking vitamins and drinking water. However, even though I’m now off the medicine (a steroid for my asthma) and have vamped up my workouts, this extra weight isn’t budging. So I think I need to change my diet. I’ve heard weight watchers is good for teaching portion control, but LA weight loss gives faster results. Even though I do not have a lot of weight to lose, I want to make sure I do it in a healthy way. Any suggestions, experiences, etc.?

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast – they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner – repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
