Hitting A Weight Loss Plateau
What to do when you’ve hit the weight loss plateau?
Well thats basically the question… how can I get out of the rut? I exercise a lot and I eat very healthily. I was losing weight and then suddenly I’ve stopped. I’m suddenly hungry all of the time, far more than I was when I was losing weight, and I’m even more tired.
You don’t say what you’re doing now, but, it’s time to change something.
If you’re doing steady state cardio (jogging, biking, elliptical, whatever), try high impact interval training.
Get some weight training into your routine. EXCELLENT way to boost your metabolism & add some lean muscle (which in turn burns more fat)
If your diet is 50/30/20 carb/prot/fat, try 40/40/20 or 40/30/30.
Make sure you’re getting 8-10 glasses of water per day.
