Healthy Quick Weight Loss?

Hey everyone, so I’m 14, turning 15 in a few months. and I weigh about 165 I’ve always been over weight, but the thing is, I eat healthy. So who can tell me how I can lose weight before school starts in a month (It’s July 28 or something and school starts September 2) so I look good and people notice the change? Keep in mind that I’m 14 so I can’t go buy diet pills and things like that. I’d like to lose 20 pounds or more, and fast, if possible, I’ll take what i can get though! ANY advice would be helpful, thanks so much!

It sounds like your head is screwed on and you are being sensible about it, so good on you. The first thing though is dont lose weight too quickly or you will only end up putting the weight back on. You should aim for 1-3 pounds per week.

Yes, you will need to exercise but as long as you raise your activity levels you are a long way there. Walk instead of driving, go cycling and things like that all count. You will need to cut out high fat foods where possible but its important to allow yourself a treat every now and again – as long as its in moderation it is fine.

Oh, and forget about all diet pills and fad diets as they wont work. Ignore acai berries and other things like that too.
