Hair And Weight Loss In Cats

My cat is supposed to be spayed but now she is showing pregnancy symptoms. Is this even possible?

We adopted our cat from an animal shelter as a kitten and they spayed her before we brought her home. She will be 1 year old in April. Her bottom sets of nipples are swelling up and turning pink as well as hair loss around them. She’s also gaining a lot of weight in her abdomen (I know that spayed cats gain weight). She’s also been more affectionate lately and eating more too. I’m taking her to the vet this week but just curious if pregnancy is even possible… and how?! Thanks!

I really don’t know what they do when they spay a cat,but my mother-in-law had a cat that was spayed and it kept going in heat.they took her to the vet and they said when she was spayed they didn’t get everything they was suppose to and they had to do it again.I think she said they missed part of her ovary .
