Emotional challenges with weight loss?

I have recently lost a little weight 4kg,(15kg to go to reach a healthy weight) which i am happy about. And i am aware of obvious sabotours (eg- friends that bring cake around for morning tea!), which is fine cos i can just say no. But i have encountered other problems with “friends”. eg. making comments about my “big bum” and directing insults at me especially in group situations. I know it sounds silly to worry about this but it really is getting to me. Its something i did not expect. Its hard enough to loose weight, but when people react negatively like this it seems even harder. Are they trying to sabotage my weight loss efforts? How should i react? ignore the comments (but then i am letting them treat me bad), be rude back (then i seem like a b****) any ideas??
also this started happening after people noticed the weight loss, even though i had not mentioned i was attempting to loose weight n get healthier

i know exactly what ure going through..hang in there!! everyone talking crap is just jealous..trust me..they want to lose weight as well cuz they feel insecure about themselves and they r pissed off that u r the one actrually losing weight!! good for u gurl!! keep it up! screw the haters and keep doing what ure doing…dont listen to a word they say…get back at them by losign even more weight…and when they offer u even the leat unhealthy thign, turn ure head and say, no way!! i aint apig like u!! haha..nah, just say no thank u, apples r healthier and then pull out a piece of fruit and munch on that..good luck! and i wish u the best!
