Free Gym Weight Loss Workout Routine
Need a good workout routine for weight loss.?
I need suggestions for a good weight-loss workout. I am in my early 40′s, female, and approximately 20 pounds heavier than what I’d like to be. I need a workout routine that I can do at my (very limited equipment) gym. I have access to a treadmill, elliptical machine and free weights. I would like to know whether I should walk on the treadmill for 45 minutes/or do interval training on the treadmill for a shorter period of time? It’s all very confusing to me. And also – should I do light weights and lots of reps or heavy weights and not as many reps. One more thing – how often? I have recently changed my diet from approximately 2,000 calories/day to 1,500 calories/day, more protein and fiber and less carbs and sugar and I have to admit I feel much better. However, I really want a good exercise program that’ll give me good results. Thanks to all answers.
buy p90x from beachbody.com its great!. It has all of your workouts planned out for you and mixes cardio and strength training routines. You already have all the equipment you need. If your joints hurt; you can trade the cardio video for the elliptical.
p90x will walk you through all the exercises; it will tell you what exercises to do on which day and will even provide a nutrition guide that you can choose to follow or not. The nutrition guide does have some very healthy meals that are great just to know for the sake of knowing.
Anyway Ive been doing p90x for 15 months now and I absolutely love it; have gotten great results and recommend it to everyone i know
