Is it true overweight people are never…Really…healthy even after weight loss.?
I was reading a medical article on fat cells. It stated that fat cells multiply quickly and expand quite quickly as well…but they never die…even after weight loss and diet change. They just shrink. I also understand that these fat cells become a killer in terms of fitness and health.
I lost 57 pounds ( i am now 194 and lossing little by little) i would like to be (ideally) 150 lb..im 5″10….
I have a goal to live to 100 years…i lost weight to become healthy and to live long and strong without complications…now this article is telling me that this…my goal… is not possible…. is this true….i really hope not… Do you think i will be able to achieve my goal…i mean my diet is perfect…i excersie 5-6 times a week (1-2 hours)…
BTW im 16…i was heavy ever since i was 7…i had insulin resistance when i was 15ish…thats all but gone now though//
No not true. I lost 90 lbs. I once had pre-diabetes, and hypertension and now have neither. It is true that you won’t lose the cells themselves–you just shrink them.
