My bf has excessive weight loss and hair loss but doesnt seem to be sick?

Ok here goes my bf and i just had a baby and yeh he has been really stressed, and right after the baby was born he started losing weight fast like 60-70 pounds in 5months,I can tell you i know for fact he doesnt do drugs. He refuses to go to a doctor cause he use to be fat and now he is almost at normal weight.I get scared and he still wont go, and i think what if its cancer or something but why did it happen right after the baby was born. He never gets sick. Stays awake more then me,he moods has changed a bit and i dont know if stress can cause excessive weight loss and hair loss or not. But i feel at my wits end cause i dont know how to make him go to a doctor or if anyone else has gone through this before. and why did it start right after the baby was born.

These things can happen with stress, and you should take him to a doctor. Also, he could have a worm of some sort- tapeworm, etc. You need to take him to a doctor, he is definitely not healthy, despite what you think.
