Extreme Weight Loss Liquid Diet

I need to lose over 100 pounds – BUT – I cannot do it on will power alone. I need something EXTREME!?

I am 38, 5-7, 275 lbs. male. I need to lose 100 pounds.

Please read my whole plight before responding:

1. I cannot do a “sensible” weight watchers plan. It leaves TOO MUCH “Tiger out of the cage”. I need something that leaves me feeling VERY RESTRICTED but also fairly quickly rewards with wiehgt loss so the restriction does not feel so punishing.

2. I am not interested in advice that deals in “long term”. Long term is a challenge for AFTER the weight has been lost. NOW focuses on losing it.

3. I already know all the usual nutritional info. But if I have to keep dieting to only lose 1-2 pounds a week, I, like 99% of fat people will say “the hell with it” and throw in the towel.

4. I cant afford gastro surgery or lap bands, and my insurance wont pay for it.

5. I cannot afford the actual Optifast, but is there any other liquid diets that do not require $3000 to do?

6. Anyone with a real life story similar and results to go along with it – PLEASE ANSWER!! Thanks!

I’ll throw all of this in:

1. There are plenty of liquid diets other than Optifast – you can find them in abundance at any health food store; also Medifast has gone commercial and should be cheaper and there’s always Slimfast. HOWEVER, they should only substitute for one or at the most two meals, and there’s always the danger that you’ll get so hungry that you won’t stay on your program. Keep that in mind.

2. Feeling restricted is only going to lead to you going off of any plan you adopt – take it from a lifetime dieter – you did ask for real life stories.

3. If you want to lose consistently, you will need to incorporate some sort of exercise. Walking is good and also weight training to tone and define. There are walking DVDs and weight training DVDs in abundance.

4. If you know all the usual nutritional stuff, put yourself on a plan that limits your fat intake but supplies you with enough calories to live.

5. Some people swear by Hoodia as a weight loss help; I don’t know. I DO know you have to get the pure, real Hoodia, so check out what you buy. Don’t get any old thing.

6. Alli will work if you follow their plan. If you don’t, you will be mighty uncomfortable. But people who follow their plan have great success.
