Beating Weight Loss Plateaus
Weight Loss Motivation?
I’m an overweight 24 year old woman. I’ve been overweight since elementary school. The last 2 years I’ve been really trying to lose it. I’m doing the weight watchers plan, but I can’t afford the meetings. I’ve lost about 60 lbs. but the last few months I’ve been in a real slump. I still really want to lose the weight, but my motivation to not eat certain foods or to stick to my working out is just not there. I’ve been at a major plateau and I have great intentions when I get up that day that I’m not going to cheat, but then I unintentionally eat things I shouldn’t. I get bummed and beat myself up over it, but I do it again the next day. I am active. I’m on a volleyball league, and that helps, and I do workout at home with the Biggest Loser DVDs, but I’m really stuck. I was wondering if others could give me some advice on how to keep going strong and if you have similar experiences, please share them. Sometimes it helps just to know I’m not alone. Thanks!
I am a trainer out in LA and I would suggest a couple things for you! Invest 5 dollars in a natural supplement found at your local pharmacy called 5-htp which boosts your levels of seratonin which does wonders for not “cheating”. I wasnt always lean like I am now so I do feel your pain hun! I would also consider getting on a really good diet/cardio/sleep/ab program that are all integrated together!
