10 Weight Loss Jokes

How much weight loss per week is healthy?
I’m 6’2″ (don’t even start with the “holy f***, giant!” jokes—I’ve been this way since I was 16, I KNOW I’m unusually tall for a female), female, age 21, 190 lbs. Anything 188lbs or lower is considered in the healthy range for me. I want to lose 20lbs. Yes, I know, this sounds like a LOT of weight, but, I DON’T actually look overweight. I don’t have a picture, unfortunately, however. I just want to be healthy.
If it helps, women where I’m from (no, I’m not AMERICAN (no offenses intended) – i made this account when visiting America ) are typically 5’7″ – 5’10″ in height. So, that will probably make my height seem less extreme.
I’d feel better about myself at 170, I think. How much weight loss per day or per week is healthy? I’ve heard anything from 1lb – 9lbs!
My body is proportional. I’m not storing most of my fat in one particular place.
1-2 pounds a week is something you can comfortably do over any extended period of time. Starving yourself eventually causes your body metabolism to slow down and becomes counterproductive.
Eat healthy and stay active. Active is at least as important.
